The European Defence Agency’s Capability Technologies (“CapTech”) working groups identify research and technology projects in response to agreed defence capability needs, which can be supported with national funding.
The European Defence Agency’s CapTech working groups are in charge of identifying research and technology projects that will contribute to overcoming technology gaps identified within European defence research priorities considering future defence capability needs and emerging technologies.
Ad-hoc projects and studies on commonly agreed priorities can be supported with national funding. Luxembourg companies and research organisations validated by the Luxembourg Directorate of Defence can participate in the meeting and contribute to the collaborative R&D projects.
We can help you determine whether participation in the CapTech working groups would be useful for your company and guide you in setting up your project together with the Luxembourg Directorate of Defence and/or ministries of defence in other NATO member states.
Benefit from the following advantages:
Luxembourg companies of all sizes whose stakeholders are from the EU or NATO member states and research organisations with a proven track record in R&D activities are eligible to join the CapTech working groups. Luxembourg companies whose shareholders are not from the EU (but still located in NATO member states or associated countries) need to provide evidence that their EU headquarters are located in Luxembourg.
