Decision process for national R&D and innovation funding

Companies applying for R&D and innovation funding from the Ministry of the Economy are welcome to contact Luxinnovation to get help with their applications. 

We will advise you on whether your company would be eligible and which funding scheme is the best one for your specific project. We can also inform you on how to best prepare a high-quality application.

Once your application has been submitted to the Ministry of the Economy, there is a period of instruction for each project. During this period, it is possible for you to start the work. In most cases, the State aid commission will give an opinion on your application, and after that, the funding decision is taken and the funding agreement signed.
